About me
Hi! I’m an Aussie voice actor with a passion for the whimsical, romantic, and fantastical.
My bright, youthful voice makes me relatable to younger audiences and lends itself to the portrayal of teen and young adult characters.
I enjoy character driven storytelling, and live for those super satisfying story moments when all of the plot pieces fall into place. Give me a good helping of humour, easy on the ambiguity, add a side of magic, and keep sprinkling on those twists until I say “When.” I particularly love speculative fiction stories which address pertinent real world topics without inhibiting one’s escapism.
With my background in animal science, I am passionate about the natural world and its inhabitants. When out and about, I always have one eye to the sky and the other on the ground watching for wildlife (of which Australia has a wonderful selection). For their sake, I do my best to reduce my impact on the earth by making a game out of finding new ways to reduce resource consumption; make thoughtful purchases; and re-use, recycle, or re-purpose wherever possible.
I love to lead a cozy, quiet life. When not in the booth, I can usually be found cuddled up with a bird, a book, and a cup of tea; or else pottering around my Tasmanian home indulging in an ever expanding selection of creative hobbies including woodworking, sewing, music, and drawing. When I’m low on vitamin D or need to work out some tension, I’ll take a trip down to the archery range and indulge my inner Epic Fantasy Character self for a few hours, perhaps followed by a dip in the sea if I’m in the mood to empathise with an ice block.
I began dabbling in voice work mid 2023 by volunteering as a story narrator for Print Radio Tasmania, a non-profit radio station that creates content for the print handicapped. This lead to doing voice work as a side hustle, eventually sparking a full career pivot when I realised how much I enjoyed this creative work compared to my high stress job.
My journey so far has lead me to record for various voice acting verticals including audiobooks, podcasts, elearning, corporate, commercial, message on hold, and Youtube voiceovers.
